Can not open any modpacks

So every time that I try to open a modpack it freezes up and wont do any

I have downloaded many times but this problem still occurs

This is unfortunately a known problem. Sometimes it just gets stuck there. The only known possible cure is a force update. Look here for more info on the problem. Your installation is not entirely recommended. It is recommended that the launcher and all its files be in its own folder on the desktop. If a force update does not work try following the recommended installation guide.

If you don't follow the recommended guide then get 64bit java as you are only running the 32bit version.
