Hello

Sorry to bother the community however after searching throughout past posts I've been unable to find an answer. Currently our server is running direwolf20's mod-pack version 5.0.1. After discovering issues in later releases we've decided not to update until a 1.5 redstone compatible version has been released. My question is can we go about this with no issue. Skipping the 5.1.0 and 5.2.0 versions and performing a straight update from 5.0.1 to a potential 6.0 release.

Any replies would be much appreciated :)

I would recommend simply backing up your map, making the upgrade, and experimenting to see if anything goes wrong. Even if there are some block ID changes, which is uncommon thanks to the effort FTB puts into their configs, Forge can normally handle these changes without destroying your world save. Any blocks with invalid block IDs will usually be removed or changed to a different type of block.
