Can my pc run the Feed The Beast Modpacks

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue:
Heyyy,

Im basically writing this because im having issues running any minecraft modpack. The issue is with the framerate, I feel like I have a good enough Pc to run it but I could be wrong. I reach up to 300 Frames at some points but thats with all the graphic setting at the lowest then if I start to open a chest or use machines, etc, the frame rate drops to as low as 1 quickly and then balances out at around 100 to 200 frames.... I keep getting dips basically.
These are my pc specs;
Processor:Intel Core i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GH.z 3.30 GHz
RAM: 8:00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
also I have an nvidia GeForce GTX 960
I feel like my pc is equipped to run these modpacks just fine but the way it runs them makes me think otherwise..
Some help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

That should do fine, post a log and see if that reveals anything.

Follow these instructions:

Okay so here is the log, I noticed that when I started doing random things like punch blocks, open a chest and use the crafting bench the frame would dip down to like 30 or less really quickly but then stabilize when I wasnt doing anything, just walking around. Also this is a brand new world, I'm literally in a cave and have not done anything drastic with machines or anything. its a fresh start so there arent any mods in use yet that could be causing these dips in framerate. Sorry for the late reply, it never updated my email notifying me I got a message from someone.
