Details of the issue:

when i click launch it doesn't launch ... been trying updating Java and Nvidia but nothing seems to work ... this is on the pc of my daughter on my pc all works fine ??

Oh it seems i can load others now but still not regrowth ...

Regrowth 0.9.0 requires Java 8, but there are some problems with it so 0.8.8 is the recommended one(or it should be, one of the post PheonixLodge made said that he will change the recommended version to 0.8.8).
Derp: I forgot that you said that you tried to update Java. Anyway are you sure that any another installation of older Java's is deleted?

well i had them deleted and nothing reinstalled them and nothing ... now i'm trying to take the modpack from my pc to her's ... vingers crossed

nope nothing ... even the 0.8.8 doesn't work anymore !! and there's nothing done with the pc from last night and then it worked ... this is getting odd

kk when trying to load 0.8.8 pack it does load but crashes after the load .; don't get the menu screen at all ..

The error is caused by using wrong java version, in this case Java 7. Your log says you have Java 8 installed but Java 7 is currently used.

I'm having the same issues. I updated to the newest version but all of the text for the game wasn't showing correctly. I tried going back to 0.8.8 and it won't launch now. Suggestions?
