Can I make a auto crafting system with AE,without the special Chamber?

Yep, but you would be needing to be specific with the import bus.
Its just really inefficient to do it that way
 
Yes, but it requires a little more work to set up (me interface and export bus) and one fabricator can only craft one item. The smallest molecule assembler (3x3) can craft a lot more items than 9 fabricators in the same space
 
You could probably attach the interface to automatic crafting tables (mark 1 or 2), liquicrafter and the cyclic assembler as well (though I haven't tried all of those).
 
AE autocrafting is awesome try it you never look back, little bit of work setting up then its so easy, to make diamonds from coal etc..
