That looks cool. The UE mods are a fun learning curve and even though Calclavia and others have added stuff that is similar to what has been around before, I think its all pretty stylish. There's definitely some awesome unique stuff too! I hope more of the UE mods get integrated into Feed the Beast packs.

I've got to hand it to Calclavia, he has some awesome designs.
it's sad that there's not alot of documentation about his mods, otherwise I'd be playing with the mods now

The documentation is lacking but the resonant rise guys have been doing a decent job of spotlighting some of the blocks available. Kirindave and corjaantje's videos inspired me to download mekanism, atomic science, ICBM and electric expansion. I installed them fairly hassle free on an existing map where I was fairly well established. Now I have barely scratched the surface of UE mods, all I have is a couple of windmills (brilliant models well done mekanism!) powering an MFR farm and an un automated insulation refiner. One of the mods also adds a circuit that isn't as annoying to craft as the IC2 circuits (they are second only to pistons for annoyance!). So far I am very happy to have installed them and can't wait to get further stuck in. I don't think I will get Calclavia's MFFS just yet because I have Minalien's version installed and I want to use that for now but I am very impressed with Calclavia's revamped version and I will do that on my next world I think. The only mod I am not sure about in the UE suite is Assembly Line but my info about that might be out of date.

In short, it doesn't hurt to try out these mods and even though the documentation isn't all there its fun to mess about with them. It might be good to do what I did and add the mods to packs you are already comfortable with so you don't get frustrated and have nothing to fall back on.

If you can't put the manipulator on the "ship" to move with it, then mining ships won't be that good, as they will travel beyond the range of the manipulator block thingy. But for things like "frame doors", excellent.

Well, you could always move one manipulator with another...

If a manipulator can move a second manipulator, create an inchworm drive with two ships. One leads, other follows, both move each other around

I tried adding some of the UE mods to my modlist before, but I keep getting the problem that blocks are not properly showing in NEI like this...

it happens with, and without optifine, and redownloading the files didn't help.
if I could've solved this problem, I'd probably be using it right this moment

Strange, I have that problem, but only with optifine. Others have reported the issue on the optifine MC forums. If only we didn't need optifine for help with FPS and CTM, Custom Colours, Random Mobs, etc, etc.

I don't know how to solve that sorry. Maybe its a problem with the versions you used. I don't use the resonant rise modpack but I used their stable modlist to see what versions of UE were working for them. Sorry if it doesn't help but it might be worth a look

I'll try installing waila on the modlist and see from which of the UE mods it's coming from, maybe I'll be able to solve it through that...

Wow and he/she is also using those cables from Mekanism. Finally a way to transfers MJ without the annoying factors. I'm going to have some UE mods on my server so it'll "mix" things up and offer a board more range of power generations than the usual generators>bio or lava>boilers running on bio and/or charcoals> then USPs. I'm buffering all reactors so the annoying labor will finally pays off and with a mod you can actually "make" uranium for them. Link to the server is in my sig if anyone is interested.
