Butterflies in forestry

So how exactly do you manage to get them? I have at least 30 around my base and I can't seem to catch any.

I have a scoop and neither right or left clicking with it seems to get me anywhere...

It is a Right Click with a scoop to collect the butterflies. Not only do you need bees working, but you need a vast garden of flowers.

I do not know if this is true but in my experience, the different types of flowers are spawning different types of butterflies.

No clue personally, but last I heard they actually need forestry trees to spawn.

Which is kinda logical, considering the fields of minecraft are full of flowers yet not full of butterflies.

Now that you mention it, I would agree they do spawn around my cherry tree and walnut farms a decent amount.

I have plenty of them visible but no variety of clicking will get them into my inventory...

After I removed and re added forestry it worked. So not sure what the cause was maybe a bugged out version or something.

I believe it's just a right click with a scoop no?
