building advice

can somebody give me some building advice?
have no idea how to finish the roof
also i might expand ait a bit

im not a good builder~
this is what i've made now
this room is for my bee stuffs
also if u can post some pictures it will be great~~

one more thing~~im playing on mind crack server so any material which is in mindcrack
would be fine~

First, add another layer of blocks on top of the glass, or add a layer of wooden (or stone, if you want a stone look) slabs. After that, you can either use wooden slabs and wooden stairs to build up a roof similar to a village house.

Or, if you want, make it flat, and then build the next level on top of it. Keep building every time you need another floor for more stuff, and soon you'll have a skyscraper!

I am a fan of roofs that are vaulted or domed. It gives a sense of openness and gives room for tall machines. I also always add skylights of some kind.

If they are for Bee's, make sure you have glass/open space above them so they can see the sky. So you probably want glass in your roof ^^
