Buildcraft Quarrys Not Working

So Ever since FTB came out, i've had a problem with quarries. All the buildcraft engines just dont work, they don't animate or anything. I have noticed though that after time the colours do change, from blue, to green, to orange, to red but they aren't animating or powering the quarry.

I don't know if this is a FTB problem, or the mod is bugged. Or if I'm powering it wrongly. I looked up how they work and i'm using them correctly and with the same method I have used them in the past. They just don't work.

Any help would be very appreciated?
 
If your buildcraft engine is changing colors but not animating, that means that it doesn't have anything to power (more precisely, it is not facing towards something that can accept power from it).

Post a screenshot of your setup, then we'll be able to tell you right away what the issue is.

Thats the one I just tried, both engines are fueled with max lava and water. Redstone engines do not work either.
 
Ok, for some derp reason, I completely forgot you neeed levers, its now working. Thanks hahaha
 
Im actually having the same problem, my redstone engines work just fin but the Quarry fails to function at all.
 
Redstone engines aren't powerful enough to power a Quarry, so you will need a better engine.
 
Redstone engines only output like 0.01 MJ, and can no longer transmit energy through pipes - the only thing they are really used for is wooden pipes (to pump out items or liquids), or pumps. In fact, maybe they should be renamed to "Pipe and Pump Engine" as I've seen a lot of confusion regarding them :P
