Details of the issue:
Built a Bronze Chisel, expected colorful block changes to occur, acted like smashing stone with hands. Right clicked for effect, started nomming on Chisel endlessly to no affect.​

Um, so the chisel just eats itself? You should probably report this to the corresponding mod's (Tinker's Construct? Chisel2?) github if it is not reported there.
