Hi,
So I've begun breeding bees using genetics to produce Yellorium Combs to power my reactor/turbine power system but have run in to a little problem I can't solve.
I started by collecting bees and breeding them as fast as possible, setting up an automation process that breeds the bees, sends them to an Analyser for identification, passes them to a Isolator etc to then create my own breed. After a while I got all the attributes I wanted and used a splicer to create my own "Super Drone".
I went for:
Species: Yellorium
Lifespan: Longest
Speed: Blinding
Pollination: Slowest
Flowers: Rock (as they will be underground)
Fertility: Highest
Area: Highest
Temperature: Both +5
Humidity: Both +5
Nocturnal: Yes
Flyer: Tolerant Flyer (Ignores rain)
Cave: Yes (as they will be underground)
I then bred my Super Drones with my previously bred yellorium queens over and over, until I had a queen that had the same attributes as the super drones (Or at least the ones that show when I shift mouse hover on them). I then feed my Super Drones and Super Queens in to an Alveary which then pipes out the excess barren combs (I presume I will always get these?), yellorium combs, and the princess/drone bees.
The problem I have is that the bees being bred by my super queen and super drones all appear to be different. They show as having the same stats, but I have 20-25 different stacks of bees that won't combine etc. What is going on here, should they not be a perfect match to my already existing bees?
My best guess is that my queens do not have all the attributes from the genetically created drones, so the new drones are not a 100% match to the original ones. How can I check this?
