Oh, but having multiple sigils in your armour, is that possible? I tried having two shards, two orbs and two different sigil. It only applied the first one apparently.

IIRC, it is indeed possible to have more than one sigil per piece of armor. (Admittedly, it has been a while since I've messed with the armor, so I could be wrong.).

I did some playing around with it. Helmet with sanguine & divination, no night vision. Pants with growth & divination, no night vision.

Make sure the orb is strong enough, as well as the shard. Also, can you even combine the Sanguine Helmet with sigils? I'm pretty sure you can't, since those are made by tossing a pair of Goggles of Revealing into a Ritual of Binding.

Sanguine + div sigil into a bound helmet. The connotation carried through with the bound chestplate example.

Master orb for both.

What shard though? Weak Blood Shards only allow one sigil to work, while demon will allow more.

Ah, that tl;dr beginner's guide. Summarize important information, leave out all the banter/filler.

Not when its surrounded by paragraphs of non-informational stuff. Guides should be more concise.

It has the label of "Beginner's Guide" for a reason. Everything in there is to explain the aspects of the mod for those who have either never used it or never seen it before. I didn't write it for people who already know the mod rather well or have a general understanding of it. But if you think you can do better, then by all means please do so.

You read Way's exhaustively maintained Minecraft forum thread, which explains everything at least twice. Or read that beginner's guide, which is a more conversational and less dry treatment.

Or you could complain that you didn't know something because you didn't know it, I guess. Seems useful as a way to pass the time.

I guess this is the point where I want to make the sigil effect a buff instead :p

Either that, or change how the orbs work in the armour...
NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. DONT DO IT!!! We wont abuse it, HONESTLY!!!
In all aeriousness tho, what padfoote said is true:
And by the time you can actually make it, it's well worth it and balanced. The amount of time and effort put into getting to that point is more than with most other mods.

I'm actually with Way on this with the buff idea, I think that would be a nice balancing feature. The orbs on the other hand... I like how it currently is. :p

That's like telling people on the internet they can't be trolls. You will get feedback if you create a guide or anything of the sort and post it, that's what happens and it helps improve what is being created.
=)

Edit: i.e. Non-informational filler - Constructive criticism.

Alright, if you have any sort of constructive criticism with valid evidence from my guide (and the "non-informational" comments do not fit this, because I've already covered that enough in my previous posts here), then PM me rather than filling a thread with this.
