I'm playing the pack "Ascension of the Technomancer" and I'm wondering if this is a bug in the pack or if I'm doing something wrong.

The problem: my Endoflames do not accept any fuel items. I tried coal, oak wook, coal blocks, coal coke, and blocks of coal coke. They are set up correctly as far as I can determine:

(1) They connect to a mana spreader as the wand of the forest shows me.
(2) They are empty when I try to throw fuel items at them. In fact, they can't be full since they never accepted any fuel.

Dayblooms function correctly. Is there any reason to suspect it's not a bug?

There haven't been any tweaks to other things like furnace recipes, or changing of what items can be used as fuel has there? I'm just wondering because AFAIK the endoflames pull from the "fuels" thing that minecraft has, so if something has been heavily tweaked so normal fuels don't apply, could that list have been inadvertently emptied? Just trying to cover bases.

I have a hard time believing its a Botania bug. Could be a modpack design "bug" with respect to fuels, or an odd design choice to force you to ignore endoflames. ( I see no reason for this w/o knowing anything about the pack, just stating it as a possibility)

So: I'm installing the pack to have my own look.

@Ieldra fwiw, the endoflames work fine for me. I tried both the floating and regular ones. I dropped charcoal and oak wood.

I suspect your world is just in a weird state. If you can stomach the startup time, I recommend you restart your game and see if its still problematic.

I wouldn't start over yet again, but the problem has gone away. Don't ask why, I have no idea.

Heh, I meant restart the game instance, not your world, but I'm glad its resolved.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that behaviour before where the endoflames just don't do anything. I killed/restarted minecraft and suddenly everything was fine and I never saw it again.
