As the name implies, post your favorite books or series here. Post as many as you can to inspire other people to read moar books (I know, prolly a failed effort, but I'll try!). Try not to hate other people for books that you simply may not agree with. I want a friendly experience here :)

I guess I'll start off. I loved the Wheel of Time series, and the Child of the Dark Prophecy series. Both great in my opinion, I'll try to think of some more I have read.

*rubs hands together*

Well, the Discworld books and the Ender saga were my favorite sci-fi series, and Ready Player One was my favorite book for that genre overall. As for fantasy I'd have to go with Dragonlance. King Rat was one of the best books I've ever read. Seabiscuit was alright. Any of the books by Cory Doctorow are alright as well.

I've read tons of fiction. I could go on. Redwall! :D

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Read it cover-to-cover in one setting.
Powerful, thought provoking and very unique.

The Wrath of Fate
Sci-fi//Steampunk --Captain Robert Brown
There will come a time... When freedom is considered too dangerous.
Cities are walled, and citizens are chained to round-the-clock jobs to keep them controlled.
Change and progress are outlawed.
There will come a time... When clockworks wake up, only to find they are not allowed to be awake.
They hide in fear, not daring to break their chains of slavery.
There will come a time... When freedom is outlawed.
The last free people must scrape a living in the dirt of the prairies, or in the skies above them.
These hardened men and women fight for their lives and their freedom against beasts of the plains, police in the cities, and pirates in the sky.
When freedom is outlawed, only the outlaws are free.
This time will come, and it will be my fault. Sorry about that

my favorite books are:
The dwarves.
Legends of the alfs.
The elves.
They are all fantasy books. The books the dwarves and the legends of the alfs are very connected to say atleast. Also I like the rules of magic but before I am going to read all those books I first want to have readed the rest of the dwarves books.
