bones in macerator

Do the dupes only exist with EE3 or do other mods cause them as well? The server I play on doesn't use EE3 and I'd like to be able to get the extra yield from putting bones or blaze rods through a macerator, so long as there aren't any dupes involved.
 
Huh? they don't work macerators? Well they work in pulverizers. Well at least bones do for me not sure about blaze powder.
Conversely the EE3 recipe for rods and bones is not present.

Actually, I'm quite certain it does still exist.

I'm sure it exists, but I must have a different config for some reason. I know I did add GT to unleashed (turned off the wood nerf though ignoring the plate tool thing with TiC) maybe that did something.

Nope. Pahimar removed all "reconstructive" recipes from the minium stone.

If you want to be able to macerate bones/rods yell atask the modpack team to stop changing the railcraft config to disable the maceration of them.

Ah, it's RC that is the culprit.

The comment about the modpack team is irrelevant to me, I don't play FTB anymore.
 
This actually forced me to finally figure out Soul Shards to set up a blaze spawner, heh.

I don't generally like mob grinders but the amount of time I was wasting to kill a few blazes was ridiculous.
