Blue Slime Skeleton Rider

Hi Guys, first post on this forum.

So, I downloaded Unleashed and started a home server. The first thing I noticed was that peaceful mobs seem to run really fast. So I waited until dark to see if the 'nasty' mobs did the same. The first mob I saw was a Skeleton riding a Blue Slime. Is that rare? Should I have tried to bottle it and display it on my fireplace?
 
Thanks. Maybe I should've crafted a sword first instead of throwing seeds in his eye!
 
Natura adds all sorts of things riding on other things. Keep an eye out for Creepers riding on Spiders or Wither Skeletons riding on Heatscar Spiders and wielding bows that shoot flaming arrows.
 
I should think about building a house.

What about the speed of the mobs though? Is that a glitch?
 
If you install Mo Creatures you can get flying agro horses riden by skeletons. Creepers can also ride blue slimes.

In my latest modpack I get awful FPS, and I think it's because of all the mobs everywhere. One of the downsides to that mod. That and the "BigCat" mob is one of the most dangerous things in Modded Minecraftia
 
I can understand glitchy movement when there's lag and low FPS, but everything looks fine apart from the fast mobs. I might try the Direwolf20 Pack and see if it's the same.
