Problem Blood Wand

So I am on a multiplayer server with one of my friends with the FTB: Infinity Evolved mod pack and we decided to branch off into two different mods. I am doing Thaumcraft, and he is doing Blood Magic. I have gotten so far in my research where I want to create the Blood Wand, but I want my friend to be the first one to pick up the wand so it is bound to his LP pool.

What the issue is is that he does not see the wand in the Arcane Worktable. I want to know what Research needs to be to unlock so he can craft the Blood Wand.

To bind it your friend just needs to right click it. It doesn't matter who picks it up first.

Tl;dr you craft the blood wand, and then throw it to your friend. Get your friend to right click while holding it and it's bound to them

I know this is a very thread but maybe my question can get answered. I have made 2 blood wands now 1 with thamium caps and one with the blood caps. neither one will connect to my blood network when I right click with them.
