Blood magic, well of suffering

I just upgraded the altar to tier 4 and now i am going for well of suffering to gain blood passively finally... lol.
I caught 2 witches in safari nets and is that enough for a well of suffering?
Or do I need to get a ritual of regeneration to keep them alive?

Make sure to hit them with a name tag (or use Jailers Safari Nets) else risk them despawning. They should regeneration fast enough on their own to survive the damage.

An excellent alternative are mobs with the Thaumcraft prefix "Undying", or to just place some sinister nodes (using blood magic teleposers) below the well of suffering.

Update:
I finished setting the entire system up and i must say, it is fantastic! At least I don't ever need to kill myself accidentally again (yes I did it multiple times)

PS: Yes, I did jailer safari net them before putting them into the torture chamber. huehuehuehuehuehueuheuheuhu
