Blood Magic Problems

Hello -
I'm trying to store blood in a drum, and for the life of me, I can't get the blood to transfer into the pipe. I'm kind of a noob to this mod, so can someone please help me? I only connected pipes to two sides of the altar because I'm really frustrated. Before that, I had it connected to one side, and then the other side, and then I got pissed and just connected it to both sides. Please help a newbie! Thank you.

You just connecteted Transfer pipes from extra Utilities But in order to transport stuff you need Transfer nodes (liquid )
Or you Use fluiducts with a servo on the altar side and rightclick the servo side and Set the redstone controll to ignore
Also keep in mind that a Basic altar can only tranfer 20lp per second in order to transport more Fluid at once you need runes of Dislocation and to transport the fluids more frequently per second you need runes of acceleration without them... Yeah keep the blood in the altar

You need a Transfer Node to push the liquid through the transfer pipes- ExtraUtilities pipes can't do anything on their own. Replace one of the pipes adjacent to the altar with a Fluid Transfer node, and you should be good to go.

Also note that, as HeroWing noted, the rate at which blood can be extracted from the altar is extremely slow without a large number of Dislocation and Acceleration runes. You'll get about a bucket out as soon as you place the transfer node; but after that, it'll only transfer 20 mB per second without said runes, if I remember correctly.
