Getting started with Blood Magic is a massively tedious grind. Until the point where you've got a T4 altar and a Well of Suffering set up automatically draining mobs, it just takes so long - and so much stabbing - to do anything. Is there any way to make getting through the early levels faster and less tedious?

villagers are a great source of life essence before u get to the well . a simpleish example would be , setup a mfr autospawner to spawn villagers preferably near the blood altar like in a room right above it and have them be"persuaded "(conveyor belts(both mfr's and exu's version) work so does an attraction obelisk (with a villger soul vial))
to fall through a hole in the spawning room with the hole happening to be right above the altar it self(make sure they cant walk off of the altar when they fall down there) then sacrifice them with the normal Dagger of Sacrifice when ever you want or need the lp
without runes of sacrifice its 2k lp a villger

if u use a corporal attractor(thaumic tinker) u probably dont even need a room for them becuase the attractors pull is quite strong(when powered by a lever or redstone block) especially if the spawner is right near the attractor

In addition, vanilla BM's incense system is quite powerful for self-sacrifice. I don't remember the names of all the things off the top of my head, but there's some brazier-type blocks you can set up near your altar, and if you place some incense items in them, they will consume the incense and give you a buff that will cause your sacrificial knife/orb to glow. Clicking the orb while you're standing near your altar will instantly bring your health down to one heart and put several times he amount of blood in the altar than it would have if you had not used the incense.

For the greatest effect, you'll want to have (at least) one brazier burning each tier of incense available to you, the first being wood ash (if I remember correctly). You will also want as many self-sacrifice runes in your altar as possible, while also making sure that there's enough runes of augmented capacity that you don't overfill the alter and waste the excess blood.
