Blood Altar Problems

Hello -
I currently have a Tier 4 blood altar, and I'm trying to pump blood back into my altar.
I have two drums filled 256,000mB/256,000mB, both with retrieval nodes for liquid attached to them, with a pipe running to my blood altar. The drums aren't draining any liquid, they're still completely full, and my altar isn't filling up. However, the retrieval nodes are both 8,000mB full. Why is it not going into my altar? Can someone help me and tell what I'm doing wrong? Pics included.

Why are you using retrieval nodes on your barrels when you're trying to pull liquids out of them? Retrieval nodes retrieve items/fluids from other inventories/tanks on the transfer pipe network, and stuff them into whatever they're attached to. So, your retrieval nodes are trying to suck LP out of the alter and store it in the barrels- which sounds like exactly the opposite of what you're trying to do.

Either put a retrieval node on the blood altar and remove the ones on your barrels, or replace the nodes on your barrels with fluid transfer nodes, which take fluids from attached tanks and transfer them to other tanks on the network.
