some of you may say use maga torch or half slab but i want a block that mob cannot spawn and you can put vector plate on them. because i am trying to make a spider proof mob farm. also SF3 mod limitation.

Thank you.

You can still use half-slabs. You're using vector plates, direct the mobs around them. All you need to do is ensure you don't have a continuous 3x3 region. Dotting a few half slabs in your dark room isn't going to appreciably damage its capability.

Any block that changes the height disrupts the spawning space, so if you're using vector plates, the thinnest slices of black wool available from multipart, will basically vanish. You'll still see them from above, but from the side they should vanish.

tried that remove top layer until the x disapear but then vector plate cant be place
Glass blocks [and similar] don't spawn mobs- so as long as you don't have a 2x2(?) of solid blocks you'll be spider free.
Alternatively you could build columns into the darkroom to remove the spiders since mobs cant spawn inside blocks.
ok ill try that and the piller is carpet :p

I didn't mean placing the vector plates on the wool, but placing the plates around the wool slices. As long as you don't leave a 2-block wide spawnable space, it will prevent spiders. Black wool will blend in enough to be effectively invisible.
