Block Replacing Machine?

Is there a machine that can replace a block with a different one? Say I have wooden planked walls and want to turn them into stone brick, instead of having to destroy the wood and put in the bricks is there something I can use that will do it for me?

Computer Craft Turtles. If you look on it's forums/wiki I'm sure you will find many scripts to do exactly that...

Wand of Equal Trade from Thaumcraft 3 (Though you have to discover it first)

Wand of Equal Trade from Thaumcraft will do this for you. Shift right click on the block you want to turn stuff into and then right click on the blocks you want to change. The wand will replace the blocks you want to change with the desired blocks as long as you have the desired blocks in your inventory.
