Block Lag on Old Modpack

Details of the issue:
I have a really nice gaming computer but I get block lag in FTB Unleashed. The world is basically done but I wanted to upgrade to a newer modpack. The block lag only happens for 1 or 2 seconds then it breaks.

PC Specs:
i7-6700k @4.6GHz
16gb RAM DDR4-2133
EVGA GTX 970 SSC+ @1.5GHz
Crucial BX100 SSD

I have stopped all 15 quarries (it helped some) and turned off all spawners and farms.​
