Biomes o plenty in Direwolf20 1.6.4

I was creating different worlds in creative mode to explore some of the different biomes available and noticed that I was getting the same biomes over and over again. When I checked the configs I noticed that in biomegen.cfg most of the biomes are set to false. Is there any reason for this that might cause problems with the modpack? If I turn any of them to true is there anyway to keep them whenever the modpack updates?

Some biomes do not play well with generated structures eg - villages or are too high to spawn most ores. If you want to keep biomes enabled then when you update simply check the back up configs box.

Direwolf20's BoP configs are very pared down with a majority of the biomes disabled. This is likely due to DW20's preferences. There's no problem with turning the ones you want on.

I'd just also create a new world so you don't have ugly chunk boundaries between previously generated chunks and chunks generated after you enable more biomes. Also, make a backup of your BoP configs before updating, so you can go back and restore your customized configs (this is always the case for any config you customize).

Thanks for the replies guys. I have to start a new world anyway seeing as my previous one was lost due to a bug and I'm just waiting for the bug to be resolved before I commit to a new world. In the meantime I thought I'd explore some of the different biomes in creative. There's a few I'd really like to see :)
