BioCristals
BioCristals is a mod that aims to support the player through the game with an end goal focused on agriculture. The mod begins with supporting your exploration of the world, aiding you in creating the best home possible, and continues your journey from settlement to killing the dragon in the end. At the current moment the mod is only focused on exploration and the beginning of agriculture. I hope that the mod will over time blossom from creativity and community feedback. So feel free to post here, on curse, FTB or PM here

The purple outline shows the player their saturation; this will be important later on.
The Research book is the guide to the mod and will help the player navigate from start to finish through researching. The first time you open it you are meet by this:
If the player clicks the seed like icon in the left, this will open (Note: Here I have unlocked all the research, new players will only see the little insect in the center):
By right clicking different icons the player can favorite them. By left clicking, the icon will show more information (Selected icon has red around it). Now you may be asking; why would you favorite something?
When opening an inventory and holding the book, the player can now see there favorited researches. This stops the player from constantly needing to access the book and clicking around inside the gui (Helps a lot if your memory is as bad as mine).
At the moment there are nine insects with different functions. They all eat from The Hunger or from the player, depending on if there is a bank or eater inside of the players inventory. When eating from the player, they will first eat from the player's saturation, then move on to the player's hunger.
Some of these insects can directly be used from the player's hand, while others need to be used through a nest. However, all insects will work in the nest, each with different functions. Example of insect in nest:
Example of breeding two Croot Beetles:
Lastly we have the Hunger Network. This lets the player transform food into raw food and into other types of resources through the use of a sacrifice pit. The network exists in another dimension. Example of what it looks like:
