Best way pollination trees

As you said you need bees for tree breeding , any bee that has flower for its flower will work(other may work i know rock does not for sure) Will work somr are faster then otherd.To make it faster you need to cross breed bees to get different pollination speeds , below is a link that shows each bee species pollination speed. If you get into bees you can get in tier 3 bee machines and isolate the pollination speed of different species and put it on different bees

You can use chocolate frame to mutate faster.This kills the bee faster but doesnt improve mutation success but also soul frames helps with mutations success. Bees are not something that happens quick , its a slow process.breeding is all chance if the bee gets a trait or not.I would recommend getting into imperial and industrious bees if you already haven't, get some alvearies and serum vials. The alveary will help with mutations as you can put a mutator block in it, also the vials can be used in an isolator so you can get traits from bees and put it on another. But all that isn't required

Kai01: Industrious Bees have fast pollination speed. If your bees don't have it, you've lost that trait during your purifying process. A list of all speeds is at http://mc.nessirojgaming.eu/bees/index.php?title=Pollination. The best pollination trait you can get early on is "faster" from Rural Bees. For the better ones you need to do some research at the research table from Thaumcraft first, because the better ones are from Thaumic Bees (+Jaded Bee, which can only be bred by jadedcat). These two better bees have "Magic Flowers" as their preferred type of flowers which cannot pollinate trees, so you'll have to change that to an accepted type of flower first (list at http://mc.nessirojgaming.eu/bees/index.php?title=Flowers).

It is best to do bee breeding with tree breeding at the same time. Bee breeding takes time and while you are working through the species you want you can get the first couple of tree mutations as well. You can easily get Silver Lime, Bull Spruce and Cherry while you are working to get Industrious and Imperial bees. Any bee that has better pollination rates will make mutated leaves show up faster. Best advice I could give is do both at the same time and you should get results quicker.
Yes this is why I was saying you need a faster pollination trait, this helps faster tree breeding. You need to breed bees to breed trees.

seems like me and him were misunderstanding each other a little, I mentioned faster bee breeding to get the pollination trait with different species Do you want that apiary to just cycle the princess and drones back into the apiary when the queen died? Put a wooden pipe at it (powered by a redstone engine), which leads via another pipe into an apiarist pipe, connected to the apiary. The pipe is configured for "Any Bee" on the side of the apiary and for "Anything" on another side where you connect other pipes or a chest. This pipe/chest will receive the products of your bees (and drones when the stack reaches 64). If you should later upgrade to an alveary (doubles the size of the pollination area and has ten times the production of a non-framed apiary), just put the wooden pipe and the apiarist pipe directly adjacent to each other on the side of the alveary (remove the pipe which was between them at the apiary).
Tree breading is a set speed I believe.. Unless you go the Thaumcraft root.. And a special thaumcraft bee will speed it up.. At the cost of flux though... Of course you have to have the addons for ThaumBees to do that.. Which is in Ultimate for sure.
And the Extra Bee Addon might have a better Tree Trait that you can mutate into your bees too.. Not sure about that one though.

Thank you all! I have now some princesses and drones with pollination fast/faster! I think I will use the automation idea later, but I don't think that i'll ever make the alveary. Ill never come to all the materials (honey drops, royal jelly..) Someone still some tips for tree breeding?

To make Alveary you need Industrious Bees And Imperial Bees.. All all pretty easy to get too. Just remember that mutations work by combing the New Line with the One Below it.... And use SoulFrames... Once you have the mutation you want... Then use chocolateFrames to speed up the purifing of your Breeds... And make a good amount of Drones.. (I usually do a stack) Then set aside a princess and a stack of drones... Thats what I do at least..
