Best source of IC2 power?

Hello, does anyone have any suggestions for the best source of IC2 power is?
I was going to use semi fluid generators but I'm still thinking
I would like to hear other peeps opinions!

I use a big reactor to generate rf and then I use mekanism universal cable to convert into eu

You could generate steam with the big reactor and run it through a railcraft steam turbine too

Assuming IC2 native? A Nuclear Reactor of course. Allowing other mods? Anything that isn't from IC2 is better.

I use steam from my Big Reactor for my Gregtech large steam turbines. Each turbine is 800 eu/t at 100%

compact windmills. They are quite effective, and look kinda cool. Also rotors aren't that expensive.

You can use buildcraft oil and fuel in one of the new generators I think.

Not to be rude to the IC2 team, but I just can't trust the reactors (Or I'm just too afraid to use them because I'm afraid they'll explode) I just feel like no matter what, they always explode, idk, that's just my opinion.
I think I'm gonna go with a steam turbine, and semi-fluid's
Also, this may sound like a stupid question, but I haven't played around with BigReactors at ALL, do they explode? Do they even have a chance of exploding?

Currently big reactors can't explode but there is a chance it will eventually be implemented

Nope, they are perfectly safe. The worst that can happen is an inefficient build.

What pack are you on? Because resrise doesn't have ic2 and neither does chaosville...
