Bees Losing Temperature Tolerance

I have a fiendish bee for lava production in my normal/normal biome. I use the acclimatiser to make him 3-Down, but after a while it says "Hostile Environment". The next time this happened he also got his killer effect back. How can I solve or automate this?

Use a beealyzer and breed him so that it' a pure bee. It obviously had some traits that resurfaced. Make sure that you breed a princess and a drone with ONLY the traits you want in it because otherwise the unwanted ones will pop up.

Keep in mind that both the princess and the drone have 2 temperature tolerance genes each and the resulting combination is a random(ish) combination of those genes.
