I am overly confident that at least 3 people have already posted such a post and I am sorry I haven't taken the time as required to go back and see all the old posts. However I have to ask in hopes that maybe just maybe someone else is having the same issue I am.

I have recently installed Feed the beast and started using some of the different texture packs. The problem I am having is that my game keeps on crashing. Now I am wondering if there is a decent stable texture pack that doesn't use a metric ton of memory that I can use.

in addition I have tried Frankenstein type texture packs in the past, they seem to cause a bit of a problem. If it means anything I only have 2gigs dedicated to this problem of crashing. I am open to suggestions in any realm.

Really depends on your whole system, not just your ram.
