Bee Biome Troubles

I recently decided to start breeding bees. I spent countless hours building a large building to house my bee operations that I just completed today, then I found out that the biome I was in was unsuitable for almost all bees.

Temp: Normal (60%)
Humidity: Arid (0%)

What are my options in terms of breeding bees here now?

I have hundreds of hours spent in this area so it is very developed so I don't really wish to move as this is on a SMP server.

I could buy an alveary from someone but it would only be one. In the long run would it be a hassle as well? Because of the climate?

You're kinda screwed on the bee front there. You have a few options:

• Move your entire base to a different biome.
• Get someone else to make you one or more alvearies and install Hygroregulators in them.
• Inoculate your bees to have tolerance for your area.
• Build a separate Bee Base.

Alvearies are your only solution. Get to alvearies then you're set. That's my plan. I'll be breeding mostly outside of my base until I get the royal jelly, etc.

Once I can mass produce the materials required for alvearies, from alvearies, I won't be able to do much in base stuff aside from my rocky bees.

Best advice for someone new to bees.... Just move to a new location. There are other options. But in the long its just not worth it. Move to a new location.

I choose a pretty good location for starting. It has meadows and forest bees. There is a desert and swamp biome nearby as well. I think I'm relatively set for the long term. Short term, I have yet to even figure out what I'm doing. Still have so many projects.
