Heyo, I have a bit of a problem with my apiarist pipes, I want to automate my bee production, but I keep getting more drones then I want in my apiaries.
Here is my set-up:

Here is the settings:

Both apiaries have forest bees in them, is there anyway I can keep all the drones from going into the apiaries?

Thanks.

This kind of automation cannot set a level of e.g. keep 16 drones in the apiary. All or nothing. Just accept the full stack of drones in each apiary and move on.

What you can do is pipe drones into a chest and put a wooden pipe on the chest with another pipe between it and the apiary and red pipe wire. Place an iron AND gate on the pipe next to the apiary set to emit a pipe wire signal when there's no drone in the apiary and nothing in the pipe, and place a second one on the wooden pipe on the chest set to have an energy pulser when pipe wire is on and nothing is in the pipe.

Alternatively, if the issue is that you want some drones to be routed out of the system for spares, check out this design. If the apiaries are full of drones they automatically send them to your spare drone destination.
