Been going going through DW20 17 and have been going through each major mod to learn it thoroughly and then going to the next mod. I remember back even before MC 1.2.5 where it was just BC and IC2. I had a great time with it... Its been around 2 years since and even TE is come and gone, everything now is EIO.

I have completely forgotten the natural progression and the usefullness of Buildcraft and Railcraft. For example... I know you need pumped water to run any power for bc or rc. I couldn't think of an early game method of automating that activity. #ThowbackThursdaymoddingishard

I have no clue what version of BC the DW20 pack is using. But the newer versions have lenses, filters, colored pipes, requesters and such to filter items around. Colored pipes will not connect to any other color of pipe. Lenses will give items a color and filters will pull any item colored to their particular color. Lists allow you to add multiple items into one slot of a diamond pipe. Also.... robots

Um... Stirling engines just require a solid fuel source. No water needed. There's also the awesome Forestry Clockwork engine for very early Buildcraft Power.

Technically only Railcraft and the Combustion Engine require water.
