Bauxite in ftb monster w gregtech

Im playing ftb monster w/ gregtech 1.6 added. I cannot find bauxite anywhere despite tryin in numerous forest biomes. Please help!!

did you add GT before or after you made the world? and if after then you need new chunks

I don't know things like aluminum work in place of it? I don't remember but I thought that it just turned into aluminum when it is done.

Well you can get bauxite from putting aluminum in a universal macerator but you need titanium to make that not sure id it works with the automatic macerator or pulverizer

If you can't get an answer here i'd ask Greg himself, apparently I have heard he is a pretty chill guy most of the time. i've never spoken to him but It's worth a shot and he might be able to help you.

If you use custom world generators like BOP/Highlands, It can be really difficult to find a biome where Bauxite spawns.
(It only spawns in specific biomes)
