Summary of the problem Bats not spawning

Pack Version 1.2.1

What is the bug? Hello everybody,
in this modpack, bats are not spawning. I tried it in singleplayer with a RandomTickSpeed of 10.000, but they won't spawn anyway.
I would be happy if it will be get fixed soon :)

Is it repeatable? Go in singleplayer and try to find a bat

Found one - I just went down to my bedrock level quarry and waited about 2 minutes. Are you sure you are looking where vanilla mechanics say they will spawn? Below Y level 63, on top of a solid block with light level under 4. Try digging down below 63 and making a dark room.

Or go caving (below y=63) in pure darkness. If you are running around lighting up a cave while you look you are limiting where they can spawn. I have found that quarries work very well for spawning bats. (Even those that reach up to the surface, as long as it is night time.)

I found today a Bat in a Mineshaft. Maybe the spawnrate was downgraded or something. But you can find them.

My house is near a cave and there are bats coming out every couple of minutes.
