So long as all bags have the exact same inventory.

I'm still debating whether or not this can be considered a bug, so I'm asking you guys what you think.

A bag within a barrel? we must go deeper.

Well honestly, the chance of a bag having the exact same inventory is so low I don't think it matters.
Fill bags with just one item, such as cobblestone.
Instant super-extra-dimensional upgrade, but with the caveat that you cannot, to my knowledge, access nor store the bag's contents automatically.

Fill an extradimensional barrel with bags of cobble. Can you put bags into other bags? what about ones from other mods? WE NEED TO GO DEEPER.

Oh god...

I know that canvas bags cannot be put into other canvas bags, nor can they be put into themselves, and with default settings they should not be placeable in forestry backpacks.

I don't know if it's possible to modify the configs to accept ALL possible filled canvas bags, but I'm sure you can put empty ones, and maybe also specific inventories in by config modification.

Forestry backpacks can be stored in RP canvas bags

I haven't done the math, but if your character used to be able to carry enough stone to outweigh the sun, it's possible to reach black hole levels of mass now. 27 canvas bags each holding 27 digger backpacks, each holding 45 stacks of 64 cobble.

Bag of holding from factorization can probably go in there somehow.

Yes, canvas bags.

And yeah, does RP2 have a bug tracker somewhere?

EDIT: @ the above; lol, just lol...

I have a dream of hundreds of layers of nested bags, each filled with dozens of stacks of cobblestone.
The overhead cost would pale in comparison to the amount of effort required to harvest that much cobble.
It would be like that malware zip file that extracts to something like 14 petabytes.

i did the math and it comes out to 5832000 blocks of cobble. anyone care to postulate how much 1 block weighs?

Are you saying EACH Cobblestone block weighs 2.5 - 3 tons?
In the real world, one cubic meter of crushed rock is anywhere from 2.5 to 3 tons.
... Which doesn't really sound right to me, but I guess 1 cubic meter IS a pretty decent size, and rock IS some pretty heavy stuff...

Sounds accurate. I can't say I've ever lifted a stone that measures half my height on all axes.

Well, I had some spare time so I decided to work out if we would really have a black hole (if you don't like maths or physics, then ignore everything in italics).

Seeing as we don't know what the real-life equivalent of minecraft stone is, i'll settle for a rough estimate of the mass of 1 block of stone/cobblestone as 2.5tons (for comparison, 1 water block would weigh 1 ton exactly, by definition). So the mass of all that stone is simply 2.5tons*5832000=1.458*10^10kg.

Next, the formula for the Schwarzschild radius (the radius below which a mass M would be dense enough to form a black hole) is given by:

R = 2GM/c^2 where R is the radius in metres, G is the gravitational constant (~6.674*10^-11 N), M is the mass in kg and c is the speed of light. Plugging M=1.458*10^10 into the forula we get:

R = 2*6.674*10^-11*1.458*10^10/(3*10^8)^2 = 2.162*10^-17m = 0.00000000000000002162m. That's quite a lot smaller than the radius of a proton, which is about 0.0000000000000008768m.

I've never built a barrel before, so I don't know how big it is, but its certainly quite a bit bigger than that.

In short, no worries about black holes :)

Just as I had done the calcs as well. However, the amount of cobble would actually be 79626240. (64*45*27*1024).

That still only gives a Schwarzchild radius of 2.95x10^-16 m

For a sphere with the same volume as a 1 m cube, the radius is 0.62 m.

Working backwards we can find out how much cobble would be needed to make a black hole in the 1 m cube, which comes to ~1.67*10^23 cobble, or 2.62*10^21 stacks.

Someone should implement that as a mod or addon somehow, where having 1.67*10^23 cobblestone on your person unlocks an achievement, and spawns a black hole on the player.

that, or having said amount of cobble in a barrel.
