Despite the error messages and half the internet telling you to "buy a real computer" or "update your video drivers", all you have to do is change the Max Memory value in the Launcher Options.
If the maximum memory is set to 1GB = crash with "bad video driver" "Pixel format not accelerated" error.
If the maximum memory is set to 768MB or less, everything works fine.
Hope that helps people out if they encounter this problem, i only spent an entire afternoon trying to figure that one out >.<
Oh and for those who want to know, i'm using a Dell Optiplex 760 with an integrated Intel GMA 4000 video card. Yes its a piece of crap but it works
