Hello,
not 100% sure if i'm just an idiot or anything but i created an account on my little brothers PC, used the local 127.0.0.1 to log him in and it's working perfectly, followed instructions on how to port forward and seemed to look okay. I then used my PC to load up FTB Infinity Evolved (same server he used) by using his external IP address and port number (25565). however when ever i try to log onto his server it gives me this error
"failed to connect to the server
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.coder.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Bad packet id 84.
We're both running infinity 2.6.0
Feed the Beast 1.7.10
and both have 180 mods loaded.
i've no idea how to resolve this and it's driving me crazy as i'n sure it's a simple fix but I've not been on FTB that long.
A little information about my PC is it's Windows 7 SP1
16GB RAM
I7 processor and runs FTB efficiently when i'm offline or on another server with my co-workers
Attached id an image of the port forwarding so i should be able to play externally
