Bad Lag issues with Mindcrack 8.01

I've been having BAD FPS issues with the Mindcrack pack lately, I even have Optifine Installed, with the old pack (v7)
I use to get a solid 25-30 FPS, but no I'm getting 5-15 Fps. did anything change from v7 to v8.01 (besides the 1.4.6 to 1.4.7 part) that causes great lag?
