Bad frame rate

just tried to play Dire's new pack

(repost) Is 4 to 6 fps normal on 1.6.4 packs? I've been playing vanilla 1.7. and Hexxit on technic with good frame rates and no optifine ,while waiting for the new packs.I tried to install optifine with no luck in direwolf20 1.6.4 (I saw the posts saying it wouldn't work but I can't play it like it is) I have a Pentium e6700 3.2gh dual core with 4 gb ram and 1 tb drive .Optifine fixed my fps trouble with ftb in the older packs. is there any thing else I can do ,or just give up on ftb.

Something I recommend to most, is getting a dedicated graphics card. You don't have to go full out and spend $300-$600 dollars on a graphic card, a simple gtx 610 or 620 that ranges under $80 would be your best bet.
I have a PC that has a Intel core 2 duo with 4gb of ddr2 ram and before I added in the graphic card(GTX 620 made by galaxy) , the computer crawled out of snails rate. So that's my recommendation for you I hope this helps.

I disabled Opis and went from 3-4 fps to 30 which was normal on my laptop. Try that and see if it improves.
