Avalon FTB server is currently running Feed The Beast 1.4.2 Beta MindCrack 1.4.6 and is a 24/7 dedicated server administrated by me. The game mode is survival with difficulty setting 2. I have banned a select few items that have been found used to duplicate items or cause unnecessary lag for our players - only items with negative side effects will be added to this ban-list. There is NO white-list on the server, everyone is welcome to play. There is a worldborder set at 10,000 blocks in any direction from spawn, thus -10k through +10k. When the new FTB release is available, the map will be wiped and everyone will start on a fresh map (select players with excessive playtime on the server may be given booster packs to start off with). Lastly, I do everything in my power to ensure gameplay remains fair for each player and the server performs effectively with minimal downtime - that being said, I am only 1 person.

PVP and Griefing ARE ALLOWED HERE.

Avalon FTB is hosted on a dedicated rack server in Nevada, USA.

Read monitors at spawn
Any attempt at exploitation or cheating will result in permanant ban - no warnings given.
Respect the server staff
Do not advertise or spam chat
Report any/all witness of banned items or suspected cheaters to the staff

Server was just down for an extended period of time, of course it felt obligated to crash as soon as I fell asleep last night. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused - but it is once again up and running. Please document to the best of your ability when a situation like this arises so that I may have a narrowed search during troubleshooting future server crashes. Thank you!

To clarify the item bans and prevent players from joining and then questioning:

Portal Guns cause server lag and can be misused to grief blocks.
Rolling Machines provide an incredibly simple item duplication method.
Uncrafting Tables also provide a simple item duplication method.
Mystcraft ages cause everyone on the server to lag during world generation (future admin-made worlds are in work)
Nukes/TNT/ITNT can be used to bypass/grief protected regions
Rubber Boots make the wearer nearly invulnerable to damage.

Further clarification on protected areas:

Chunks that have been claimed by a player and have not been shared access with you are NOT allowed to be griefed. These areas are meant to be protected and limited to 1 chunk per player - bypassing this protection will be considered exploitation of an incompatibility issue with explosion effects. Leading a creeper into someone's protected chunk to destroy chests or take items/grief will get you banned.
