available modpack fail to load when launcher starts

when i try getting on ftb today the modpacks failed to load and everytime i try to restart the launcher it give me the same issue. i tried updating java as well as reinstalling the launcher but its not helping. the console keep giving me this log

there is a know issue with Avast in that some part of it blocks connections from the launcher.
if you're not using Avast, check the the launcher is allowed through your firewall.

I have tried to disable both my firewall and my avast but the problem still occurs. The launcher was fine last night and no change or update was apply between that time.

this means that someting on your PC is Blocking access to FTB's hosting servers (they use creeperhost)
in most cases it will be your firewall or you "browser safety" feature (if you have one)

i just noticed something wierd. when i ping www.creeperrepo.net from here in the UK, i get a totally different IP address:

in any case, if you cant ping that server, something on you system is blocking it

I clicked the link you mentioned, and it can load perfectly and extremely fast. So its totally not my computer.

I don't have a log, when i go to the pull down tab to pick 1.0.12 it just launches with 1.0.11, not even a download sign.

Im not sure which of the following is the one that made it work but this is what i did

1. change my firewall and antivirus to allow ftb
2. run a troubleshooting on my internet connection to make sure nothing is wrong.
3. changing the ftb launcher host location
4. uninstall some application that i install earlier yesterday like ad blocker
