Autonomous activator not hitting me/mobs.

So setting it up, it hit me quite often, but now no matter where or how I place it, it will only hit me now and then. Doesn't matter if it has a weapon or not, the same thing happens. Is there a problem with it or some arcane rules that are only listed in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.'?

I'm using the reccomened DW20 pack and I have the AA set to left-click, use top-left slot, not sneaking, aim level middle, redstone signal ignored, default augments.

I have no helpful ideas, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the glorious reference. My one piece of advice?

Did you check if it requires power? I know I saw in one of DW20 vids that the AA needed power now

I had troubles using it in the DW20 pack 1.7.10 version 1.0.3 in my wither skeleton farm, and finally I set it like that

CW
A|
C|
CCC

So, C is cobblestone, A is the autonomous activator oriented to the right, and |+|+W is a wither skeleton.

I set the AA to aim high, to the wither skeleton's head, and it worked. Aiming at the same level did not workd..

@pc_assassin The first thing I did was check that it requires power and I'm not sure where I saw that but the one I'm using doesn't.

I did actually manage to get this mostly working by moving the AA from the centre of of a wall into a corner. It doesn't always kill a wither that's stood right infront of it but when another comes along and they jostle, one of them will go down. It's not perfect but it's more than acceptable.

@yotus Changing the aim level makes absolutely no difference for me.
