Automation and slag furnaces

So I want to automate my processing of ores with factorization, but i cant get items to be extracted from the slag furnaces. I specifically mean the ingots and dirt produced. I tried a wooden pipe with a redstone engine on the side of the furnace but it did not work. Help?

Try below the furnace maybe? Don't know if Slag furnaces require you to pull from certain sides. Also, TE itemducts, wrench so that the end on the furnace is red, and may need a red stone signal.

Basically try with what loboca said, though try each side. I remember Factorization had some different iSided-ness, so you may have to pull from the back/bottom/one specific side.

Factorization is very much like vanilla with respect to automation so pulling out the bottom will surely work. The same is true also of crystallisers - I would hate for you to accidentally pull out the aqua regia or something out 3/4 of the way through with a wooden pipe.

Thanks guys! I managed to get it to work by putting the duct on the bottom of the furnace
