And1 got a efficient way for automating it?
I want to be able to dump everything that can be electrolyzed into a chest, progressed and moved into a new chest.
My system always gets stuck when there's to much/little of a specific item that requires x amount to process it.

Yeah, I was thinking about this myself, the only thing I could come up with is making a router empty that slot when the machine's no longer taking EU.

Filters might work I think you can specify the amount to pull from the inventory by placing that amount in the filter, use multiple filters for more than 9 items. Not sure how well this would work. also might be able to do this with AE export buses.

Put a RP filter between your chest and the electrolyzer, then put the quantities of the items you want to electrolyze in the filter's buffer.

since it is a GT-machine, take a look at the advanced translocator. it allows you to specify where items should go.

extracting items could also work via AE import bus.

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Chest-> sorting machine-> tube-> electrolyzer. (tube connected to top side)

Set the sorting machine to pull continuously- and lower button should have the chessboard design.
Just add all your recipes to the sorting grid (9 ruby dust, 2 pyrite ect), and it'll pull that amount out when you have enough in the chest.
A router can put more cells into the electrolyzer (target bottom slot)- hopper/relay is useful.

Then either sorting machine/woodpipe out the results from the side.

Perfect. Except for the timer needed perhaps.... other than that, perfect.

This is the same solution I came up with last time when I had the exact problem the OP describes.

The RP2 sorting machine is the only singular device in the game that can fulfill this type of job. Thaumcraft golems can do it too, but you'd need a whole group. And do you really want to allow those little uprising-plotting no-gooders to group up behind your back? ;)
