Hello

Is it possible to automate the input and output of overclockers in a replicator so that it puts 6 in when it starts, and takes out when EU is 100%. This is because I believe it makes it faster?

To be more specific, I know how I can do it but just don't know if there is a way automatically put the overclockers in and out. I tried itemducts and a router already.

Thanks

i find it highly unlikely for IC2 machinery to wark faster if you take out overclockers at a certain point of progress, so either your belief is wrong, or you've found a bug.

not to mention that upgrade slots was never intended to work with automation. at least they never did when i played with, which was quite a while ago.

From testing it, having the overclockers in until the EU gets to 100%, then taking them out speeds up the UU due to what the overclockers do. Maybe it is a bug or I'm just wrong haha.

I think it is very unlikely that you will be able to insert/remove from the upgrade slots using automation. Mostly because that would mess up with regular automation.

Long story short: no, or just too complicated.

from what i can grasp overclockers in replicator, in addition to increasing speed, not only increase EU but also UU consumption. which may explain why you get sped boost if you take them out. which either a odd design decision or a bug, most likely.

Factorization routers or Steve's Factory Manager might be able to resolve the upgrade slots without messing with the normal functionality.

Not sure though.

Ok thanks for suggestions.

It may well be a bug. As when I do it manually it is much faster than without or keeping them in.[DOUBLEPOST=1408035860][/DOUBLEPOST]

I tried a router already but couldnt seem to find a slot that it would go in.
