Auto-spawning witches with MFR not giving all the drops

Ok, so i have a pretty basic auto-spawner/grinder set-up, spawning witches (captured in the mystic grove biome). The grinder returns sugar, sticks, empty bottles, gunpowder, glowstone, and spider eyes....but i set it up for redstone (i know i won't get the instant health potions unless i kill them myself or with a melee turtle)....so why don't i get the redstone?

Is this intended or am i missing something? Help is appreciated

If you haven't already, double check to see if your grinder is not getting the redstone. It may be that the redstone is staying on the floor. I often have my killing floors made of conveyer belts that lead into item collectors. That way I can be sure that I can pick up everything.

i broke and replaced the grinder...which fixed the issue....strange nonetheless
