Is there a machine in direwolf20 modpack which could use the item (like watering can) constantly? i made essence berry farm with harvesters, but if i want them to grow fast, i need to manually water them with extra utilities' watering can

Normally the autonomous activator from Thermal Expansion is the machine to use. However, the watering can is coded specifically not to work in that machine (and similar). It will break if you try.

I don't think you can actually automate the watering can.
 
meh... manually watering then :D while i wrote this post and waited for your reply, i got 4 stacks of essence berry by watering manually :D

DW20 has Thaumcraft and Ars Magica. Speed up growth with a Sigil of Nature's Bounty (needs no fuel) and/or (a) Lamp(s) of Growth (need Herba essence, but appear to be somewhat more efficient than the sigils). The effects of both stack, and you can use multiple lamps. I haven't checked if overlapping sigil areas work.

(To get the Herba essence, automate an alchemical furnace, use cane for essence extraction and void the Aqua and Aer in void jars. Yeah, the sigils are far easier to use, but a 9x9 cane farm can supply the lamp to keep itself sped up plus three or four others)

oh ya! lamps :D forgot about those :D havent been into thaumcraft after yesterday's arcane miner's making in that stupid infusion :S

Or use a treefarm harvesting leaves that only have Herba.
 
You can use the sprinkler from Extra Utilities and you need a tank under it from the same mode and it dose 9x9 i think.

i tryed using aqueous accumulator like one guy did in a video, but it didnt work... though i havent heard of sprinkler! ill try it the next time i play ftb

I was going to say this... Why waste/void out essence you don't need or want? One MFR harvester with shear leaves on will give you enough herba to last a loooong time.. I used to just switch mine back and forth from shear leaves when I was getting low on saplings in my planter.
