Austere Bees

Hey guys, I recently got Austere bees and I'm trying to get powdery combs out of them.
I tried to use heaters & hydroregulators to get a hot temperature and arid humidity but that doesn't work.

My question is: do austere bees produce powdery combs in a hellish/arid biome? (like nether)

It seems like Austere bees only produce powdery combs in a desert biome. You might want to look into Creepy bees instead, slower production of powdery combs, but not specific to desert biomes.

Austere Bees are one of only two bees (the other being the Valiant Bee), which need a specific temperature/humidity in their biome (in this case hot/arid).
