AS: Creative Flint Uses

Hey guys,

I've been accumulating this stuff... I want to find a good use for it. I was going to make a billion arrows for a wither killing station, but that seems small.

Are there any automated processes that can consume flint?

Mekanism has a machine that uses flint to make metal clumps for 3x ore processing. It's not in any of the official ftb packs though

Pretty sure BM has the ability to make leather with flint and rotten flesh through its alchemy system.

Unfortunately mekanism isn't in AS.

Alchemic chemistry set doesn't interact with pipes AFAIK. Though, I only tried fluiducts. I don't want to sit there and process 31k flint, heh.

There's a ritual for that.

And you mean there is a ritual that takes flesh/flint/water and turns it into leather? How do you automate that...

Ballad of Alchemy. Look it up on Way's MCF thread, he details it there. It automates alchemy.

Well, the main thing is that I don't have time to be doing manual stuff. Trying to advance my AS quest line, while maintaining all my systems, means that I need to have as much automation as possible. I am only one person.

I don't have enough time to stand there and click the deconstruction table, heh. Though, I am now excited to be generating dirt from chicken meat. Trading wood + flint + feather = meat + essence + feather

Simplify:

Wood + flint = meat + essence = dirt + protein (gendustry) + MJ (reactant dynamo). Flint is naturally generated by sieving system. Wood is generated by tree system. Feathers (hopefully) is generated at a 1:1 ratio... I hope.

Instumentum is a tier 6 aspect. So with a few centrifuge and a bit of imagination. There must be something to do with it... also deconstruction tables..

The main problem is that there isn't a lot that I use TC for. Most of my tech covers everything that TC has to offer. I only use it for the fun of playing the magic mod, but there's nothing fundamental I can do with it, especially integrating it with my tech heavy builds.

I do understand that I can deconstruct instrumentum into a lot of things, but I don't have a heavy usage of essentia, such that it would validate spending the time to set up all the centrifuges/intermediate golems.

Though, that would be a fun project. I might consider it.

Well, AFK'ing while your ore system supplied by an igneous extruder... blah blah blah.

It's just more about trying to be every bit efficient as I can with my build. I am going to dump all excess mob essence/gunpower, or any other reactants into reactant dynamos, to balance those excess. Trying to get get rid of all my bone, by creating a positive fertilizer loop on my wheat farm (16 fertilizer = 1 string, 2 sticks, 2 bone meal, 4 wheat, use it on an MFR wheat farm, and convert wood/string/bone into a positive feedback loop of wheat and fertilizer).

I have no idea what to do with all this clay though. I could just... Start building out of TiCo bricks made from smelting grout................
